West Lake Spring, 101-17 Nanshan Rd, Shangcheng, Hangzhou • 西湖春天, 杭州上城区南山路101-17号
After a week of daily feasts at posh Chinese restaurants (mind-blowing!), lunch at this youthful spot with one or two friends felt ultra-refreshing. The food there was incredible (and dim sum always makes me love the world so much more than i already do)! I had 'crispy durian cakes' for the first time- oh, dear Lord, gimme more! And try the fresh corn juice as well!
Right opposite, on the other side of the street was the China Academy of Art. Check it out when in Hangzhou, it's covered in living green walls! Sadly I didn't get to see any artworks, but there's always a next time!
P.S. I think the 'ingrown' trees are so rad! Don't you think so?
